Power hungry

 Our power has been out since yesterday evening.  I'm at work, but Roger is home with the dogs and kitten.   He's completely lost without his TV, but there's not much he can do.  I'm more worried about the temperature.  At the moment, it seems to have stabilized at 60 degrees, but I don't know how long that will last.  I'm also scheduled for a colonoscopy on Thursday.  The prep for that should be fun without electricity.  At least we have hot water and gas for cooking.

Good that you had the gas. Back in '87, when the Great Storm hit the UK, we had to make do with a portable gas ring for two or three days.
