court again

Wednesday, it's back to court with my son Mike.  It's been a year, and the trial has yet to begin.  We keep hoping that the prosecutor will come to his senses and decide not to go forward.  It's obvious to all (except the prosecutor) that there is no case.  Every time the trial is scheduled, there is some kind of delay.  What ever happened to the right to a speedy trial?
