Roger's unemployment was approved, and the checks arrived today.  It's not much, but it should tide us over if we economize fairly heavily.  Apparently the company didn't fight the claim.  The attorney's letter must not have reached them before the claim became final.  We're now waiting to see if they'll even bother to answer the letter.  The company has a history of settling these types of claims, negative publicity being what it is.  Who wants to hire an unreliable alarm company?  I'm sure they'll take a lot of time, so we'll just have to wait patiently.
