busy weekend coming up

This weekend is shaping up to be extremely busy. Our Holiday concert is this Saturday and Sunday, so we have a dress rehearsal on Friday evening from 7-10. These tend to go a lot longer than scheduled, but I'm hoping this time will be different. We are performing in a commercial theater on Playhouse Square, so the stage help is all union. If we go over schedule, we'll have to pay for additional hours at the union rate. On Saturday, we have two performances, and one additional on Sunday afternoon. I'm going to miss the Sunday performance, because Roger wants to go to the dog show which is also in town. It runs from Thursday through Sunday, so I promised him that I would go with him on Sunday. We'll have to get up early on Sunday in order to get there by 8:30. The toy fox terrier judging is at 9:15 and he doesn't want to miss that. Our boys would never forget him if he did. After being up late at Saturday's performance, I'm sure to be dragging by Sunday night. It's a good thing that I don't have to go in to work until 1 on Monday.
