dancer44 Roger just called to tell me that he's cleaning out the refrigerator. Since we didn't have any power for 49 hours, everything must go. That's sad, because I went grocery shopping on Sunday and the power went out on Monday. I'm not sure whether the stuff in the freezer is any good, so we're going to dump all of it and start over. At least it should be done by the time I get home, so that will be one less thing for me to worry about. I need to call our insurance agent to see what kind of home coverage we have. There was so much water coming down the chimney that the control unit for the gas fireplace is ruined. If that had worked we would have had some heat in the living room at least. The was only one water leak and I think that the water came down the dryer vent opening in the attic. If the rain ever stops, we can check the roof for damage. Right now I'm just glad that I have the next two days off.
