I'm finishing up my first week in retirement and it's great. I noticed today that I'm feeling my body slowing down. It's hard to explain but I feel like things are more relaxed and smoother. I'm sure it's due to the stress. release of not going to work each day. The library is not a stressful place to work, but apparently there was enough so that I'm feeling the difference.

Today begins my last week at the library.  The last 17 years seem to have flown by.  I'll be glad to not work anymore, but I still feel kind of sad to be leaving.  On a more down notem, Kaiser rejected Roger when he appled to them for an individual policy since Ohio won't let me carry him on mine when I retire even thought he's been on my group plan for years.  I'm not sure what kind of options we have, but I believe that he'll qualify for COBRA which is outrageously expensive.  Hopefull, when the exchanges kick in in October, we'll be able to find something better and cheaper.
   All the wedding plans seem to be solidified.  Everything has been reserved, ordered, and paid for.  All we have to do is get on the bus (I hope).  September could be a good month.
