Monitor

Roger now has his Holter monitor to wear for the next month.  Whenever he feels and episode of SVT coming on , he has to push a button on the monitor and call a number in Florida to transmit the data.  The tech said that they weren't sure whether it would work with a cell phone so we should use our landline.  We haven't had a landline for at least 7 years, and I don't know anyone who does anymore.  We'll have to try the cell phone and hope it works.

I had to wear that for two weeks a few years ago because of my a-fib, but I didn't have a single episode while it was on. Never had to call the number!

So far we've had to call every day. Apparently Roger had these episodes while he's asleep and the monitor fills up.
